Meterworx (“the app”) is a field-service application used by water-utility technicians to complete assigned meter-exchange work orders. The app is provided by KoldOps (a product of IncWorx, Inc.) and is made available to technicians by their employing utility or contractor (“your organization”). This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and how it is handled.
Meterworx is an enterprise tool. Your organization provisions your account and is the controller of the work data you submit. KoldOps processes that data on your organization’s behalf. There is no public sign-up; accounts are created and managed by your organization’s administrator.

All of the above is collected solely to make the app function. Meter readings, serial numbers, and notes you enter are stored with the associated work order.
We do not use your data for tracking, advertising, or marketing. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers or third-party advertising networks.
Work data and photos are transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored in our backend infrastructure (provided by Supabase, acting as our data processor). Data is accessible to your organization and to KoldOps personnel only as needed to operate and support the service. Offline captures are stored temporarily on your device and uploaded when a connection is available.
Work data is retained for as long as your organization requires it for its records, and is deleted or returned in accordance with our agreement with your organization.
Because accounts are provisioned and managed by your organization, requests to access, correct, or delete your account or data are handled through your organization’s administrator. To make such a request, contact your administrator or email us at the address below and we will coordinate with your organization.
Meterworx is an employee tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
